The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
